I float around, this empty house
With ghosts from when you came around
But none of them fulfill me like you do
And after all this time, I don’t know why I find myself
Shining a light of broken mirrors
For the corner of your pupils
On the surface of this barren land
I sweep with my own eyes
For ruins of where our love used to grow
When graceful slender palms stretch like rockets to the moon
Dancing lazy in the cross wind
Swirling to and fro
But I’m tired of waking nauseous, wondering if you lay dreaming
The same way that I always dream of you
But sometimes I feel fine
Convince myself we had our time
And surrender to the beauty of this tragedy til I find,
Your jumper in the laundry
Your poems in my kitchen and,
See your face when I touch myself
Like stars beyond a cloudy night
The cigarettes without a light
A letter on your fallen fathers grave
Like a sun flow seed
That never tasted water
And never got the see the light of day
We’re beautifully wasted
But one question still remains
Why won’t you love me
Was I ever really there
Why won’t you love me
Did I make it far too easy
Why won’t you love me
Under bright green fallen stars
Why won’t you love me
Like trying to run from the moon
There’s no escape from loving you
And the horizon chose no clues
Or shelter for my refuge
And I’m tired of waking nauseous
Wondering if you lay dreaming
The same way that i always dream of you
And sometimes I feel fine
Convice myself we had our time
And Surrender to the beauty of this tragedy til I find your,
Jumper in the laundry
Your poems in my kitchen
I see you face when f touch myself
Like stars beyond a cloudy night
The cigarette without a light
A letter on your fallen fathers grave
Like a sun flower seed
That never tasted water
And never got the see the light of day
We’re beautifully wasted
But one question still remains
Why won’t you love me
For every moonlight sacred dance
Why won’t you love me
Was I only second best
Why won’t you love me
Did I not touch you right
Why won’t you love me
For every month spent by your side
Why won’t you love me
For every tear upon my shoulder
Why won’t you love me
For every poem, every letter
Why won’t you love me
For making love in your front yard
Why won’t you love me
Under bright green fallen stars
Why won’t you love me
