Should have formed a trio with Walt Disney and Vincent Price. The pencil thin mustache power hour.

My Dad bought a little farm after he was released from Stalag iv. When I was a little girl he used to sing this all the time.It takes me back to the good old days - hard days, but happy days. My Mum and Dad worked from 5am to 9pm every day of the year for 24 years and had 5 children.

The coal field town I grew up was named for the president of the local coal company when the town was founded in 1894. The company built and owned the houses the miners and their families lived in. The store also belonged to the company. The miners used their pay to buy needed items from the company store. The railroad existed to take the coal out. The existence of the miners was not slavery but it was close to being that. The country was built that way: coal and iron for steel production. Some people got rich many more got sick or dead doing the dirty work.

If I was him, I would use that singing time to get to 17 tons and turn a profit.
