A very good rendition. Not issued in the U.K.- we had the Hylton version. Frankly, choosing between that and this, I can understand why Electrola issued this version.
Ted Weems led an excellent band and this serves as a good, early example of his work.

I always get this mixed up with "Hey little hen, when, when, when" which I think belongs to the same era. Both seem to be about eggs being laid for my tea. Both show obvious American jazz influence.
