Gregory Latour
I had the great pleasure of seeing Ted Lewis twice in my young life, in a theatre in Detroit in early 1943 (when I was enlisting as a Naval Aviation Cadet), and in a supper club in Omaha, NE in 1962.
My dad was half of an early-day radio act known as "Al and Pete", so I was exposed to, and a devotee of, many latter-day vaudevillians. I also am lucky enough to still have a 33rpm LP of Ted and his act which gets played (my wife would say "endlessly").
Gone? Maybe. But "forgotten"? ...NEVER!!
