Back in 1943 they held the line.. stopping they checked the Japanese cold on land allowing the US Navy to deliver check mate. Then after 9/11/01 thousands more Australians from a new generation picked up their rifles to defend a nation not there own. To them this Yank says Thank You. To the famlies of the 41 who paid the ultimate sacrifice Thank You will never be enough. As we remember our fallen on the last Monday in May, I will hoist one for them... for "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
