Always and forever, thank you to Great Britain and the British people whose creativity, since the 1960s, has given the rest of the World hundreds of unique bands such as the Siouxsie And The Banshees and music of unparalleled beauty, quirkiness and atmosphere. What would our lives have been without British bands? Thank you from Sicily.

The Scream is one of the great albums. The problem with Siouxsie was not that she could sing but that she learned that she could sing. She always thought she was the coolest person in the room, but once she fancied herself a chanteuse she became too precious to be endured. In the beginning her snottiness hit the right fuck you tone. A brilliant song (that is only 4 minutes long, this video has 2 minutes of silence at the end). I actually prefer the 1986 Peel version without the sax
