The song basically tells the woe of an unreturned love. She does not even care if his porridge is hot cold, wet or dry. Porridge was important. When I was Wester Ross we had the porridge every morning, come to think of it we had it even when I was not. This is the closest thing to a Gaelic Anthem there is. We hum it, sing, and even whistle it when we see someone with great pullover, wellies walking with the Carmunchie. Dad used to pick me up, and use me as the pipes while he humed this

Why is this suddenly not available when I have been playing it for ages before?

Guys - There is a track that starts "the crow killed the pussy-0". Any chance you can post this. I last heard it on this very LP when I was a wee lad 30 years ago. Brings back great memories when my Mum abd Dad were together.

My dad loved this LP and so did I. He died in 1989. I can sing all the Gaelic songs.
