The "Red Garland Trio" is one of the best kept secrets in jazz music. Well perhaps only to those who came late to the party. Others familiar with Garland know of him through his work with Miles Davis.. Garland was as good ( if not better) as any of the pianist of his time, but ask someone about him outside of a very tight jazz circle and many would ask who?!! Bass-Ment Blues is a brilliant track and Paul Chambers completely owns it with his outstanding bass work. Nice upload.
