Jack Normand-he was the orchestra leader at the Grand Hotel (now a Marriott) in Point Clear, AL from 1941 until WWII. Then he came back in 1951 and was there 40 years. My brothers carried on the band for another 10 yrs. See my site grandband click on "History" for pics and music

My father played with a lot of the musicians Pete played with. When Pete had a gig in Florida, he would stop at our place in Fairhope, AL and give us some of his home made cracklin.
