Not every hope is a dream come true
Not every heart is made of steel
Not all love sees the end of time
And more hearts than not will be broken tryin'
But I believe that love is enough
In the healing of your touch
Because you show me
What it’s all about
I would never find out
Unless you showed me
How easily we complicate the simple things
And one mistake we make along the way
Is to think there’s so much more we need
Of things that time only takes away
Here all that we have is now
We learn to believe somehow
It’s enough we have today
All I know is time changes everything
Whatever tomorrow brings
I will believe…

I did the majority of the late night feedings when my daughter was born. I would fix her bottle and put this song on and the tears would freely fall. This album came out right around the time that she was born. I always tell her that she taught me more about love than I could ever teach her.......she showed me. She healed this damaged man........love her so much.
Just love this beautiful ballad, Michael. It accompanied me many hours on my recent Boston to PA return trip. And now... it has become a perfect meditation as I drive. Thank you...
One of my absolute favorite songs. I heard this song 20 yrs ago, and it touched me profoundly. The music is played by some of my favorites. Stan Getz plays from deep his heart. I shared this with his daughter. God bless MM.
One of the most beautiful songs ever performed. With the lates Jeff Porcaro and Stan Getz, with Abraham Laboriel on acoustic guitar and bass and electric guitar played by Michael Landau.
