I first saw this film at age ten or twelve. I loved it but did not fully comprehend the the great dramatic and spiritual masterpiece. This film, to me is spiritual cinema.

I loved the movie and the this theme. It has staying power and is haunting in a special way.

I watched this movie in my English class, I LOVE this movie so much, and I believe this music is beautiful !!

I love this music. I have always thought that it should also have some beautiful lyrics with which to reveal full emotion. Yes, a masterpiece of musical genius.

The attention to detail, beautiful cinematography, breathtaking score and well written script make this movie a stunner. So many layers of meaning here and they elevate this film way above the average "cops vs. bad guys" story. I wish all movies could be this well made.

I used to work at Asda House, in the customer service call centre (horrible place, mostly great people) anyway I took a call from a very angry lady but I could hear this soundtrack in the background. I immediately ask if she was watching Witness? She changed her attitude straight away and I easily resolved her issue and we spoke about the film and other Peter Weir movies. The power of music
