My Grandpa Lange would sing us to sleep when we were lil. He change the lyric from cowboy to "the grandpa that loves you so". RIP Grandpa we will keep you in our prayers until we meet again

Please notice! Real singers do not need to gyrate about the stage gesticulating with their bottom halves and pointing to their privates like so many supposed singers do today. This song with Marty and the guys is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful music does not need to be "sold." It holds its own decade after decade. I do wish America would clean up its act and get back to beautiful music instead of that stuff that sounds like a NYC traffic jam.

Marty Robbins has a beautiful voice and does this great tune real justice. %They used to refer to this genre as "Country & Western", but not much Western anymore-George Strait has a good Texas influence. Marty was also able to bring in the Mexican sound as well. A Legend who could sing and write.

Marty had one of the most beautiful voices ever. I had the great pleasure of hearing him in Raleigh, NC. I have many of his records. I never tire of playing them. RIP, Marty. Thanks for the music.

My late Dad loved Marty Robbins but always always said his backing singers were more than just backing singers !
