I think I was 17 or 18 when I heard Mahumodo. their track Waves was released on a free music CD with an issue of rock sound mag. After hearing it I went straight to my local record store and ordered a copy of the CD. I still own it and listen to it on my way to work.

Mehdi the singer wrote all of the music too. Mahumodo was the first band he started at school in England. He formed *shels with Modo drummer Tom Harriman & members of Eden Maine and Fireapple Red in 2002 when he left England and moved to California. The remaining members started Devil Sold His Soul.
