When Clapton was addicted to heroin and was trying to get clean- he found 2 influences that saved his life: GOD and J. J. Cale. In 1974 he released 461 Ocean Blvd and re established his Solo career after Cream and Derek and the Dominoes. 461 Ocean Blvd was his most successful to date. The album EC did with J.J. needs to be in your collection. If you are a fan of either man....THANKS J J...You are not forgotten behind the music. You should be in the RNR Hall of Fame too.
