I love a lot of Sinatra’s songs. This is awful... he was trying to impress Petula Clarke, who was there when he was recording it and as soon as he finished he knew it hadn’t worked, stormed out of the session and him and took Petula to a lunch date. I admire him for admitting it was a terrible attempt at trying swing a song that ain’t just meant to be be in a swing vein, but I have no respect for him allowing it to be released.............. In a word...Garbage!!

Frank does a great job here but the arrangement is embarrassing.

Awful version, love Sinatra but who advised him to sing this. What’s all those grunts or wails in between the vocal lines.... I’ll tell you what, he had just had lunch with Petula Clarke and invited her into this recording, to show off one would presume, anyway he failed miserably with it. He realised it immediately after the recording, he wasn’t happy with it.....not surprised!!

For me, he sang it like he was taking the piss out of it, he nailed it but from this album, all or nothing at all is unreal and my favourite track, I loved franks voice in this period had a real mature edge to it
