I saw her in Edinburgh at the Usher Hall on her first tour to the UK. A tiny figure filling a vast space with her songs and her personality. Her voice in this clip is so good, so much more confident than on many of her studio recordings
Saw her perform at Colston Hall in Bristol in 1977 the year I got married, she was incredible so small with a beautiful voice, remember her saying she could never fly and could never get over her fear of being in an aeroplane, magical stuff
mythical kings and iguanas. beautiful. never thought this album would have been my cuppa T but, ive listened to it over and over again since i was introduced to it by a friend Robbie Grayson in the 80s. still love it.
I used to listen to Dory Previn all the time, I also remember her appearance in the BBC series "The Camera and the Song", I would love to see it again.I wonder if anyone remembers it.
