The Death By Stereo of today are a fucking shadow of their former selves. They shoulda split after Day of the Death I swear. I saw them in like 2002 with Good Riddance. Those were the days.
The crossover metal shit they put out now is like all that MTV shit for 12 year-old emo kids. They even dress head to toe in black for their live shows, music videos etc.
Basically they broke the rule for all punk bands,which is break up after a few years, before you become a fucking parody of yourself.
