I’m sorry, but this is a horrible cover of Shakespears Sister’s greatest song. The pacing is far too fast in the beginning, and the male voice covering Siobhan’s part sounds like he’s vomiting the lyrics rather then singing them. No one sings this one better than Shakespears Sister. Others may try, but they don’t capture the essence Marcella and Siobhan created. Marcella’s part is supposed to be slow and nurturing, not forced out in the quick spilling of words this joke of a version grants its listeners. Sorry to those who like this band, but it doesn’t work for me. This song is exclusively Shakespears Sister’s. No other version compares.
