Is this implying that a unique Homo sapien like species speciated in South America seperate from all other Homo sapeins which speciated in Africa? If so, there is an extensive physical archaeological record that would explicitly disagree with this assertion. Also modern academic archaeology is more and more accepting of the notion that 10,000 years ago is far to early of a date and in fact people probably came over here thousands of years before that, probably by boats following the coast along the north and then south down the western coast of North America.
