One of the all time great albums in the history of music. Bird almost forms words with his horn. Every phrase, every NOTE is perfectly placed and shaped in keeping with the lyrics. Never occurs to many players. Bird never shows virtuosty at the expense of the song .(on THIS album.- cant be said of the bee-bop stuff but even then the original wasnt totally lost. Might require a musicologist to find it.
