I remember one day listening to this song when I was around 6 or 7 and my mommom started singing along , she said she used to love this song as a little girl (the older version) but she said she liked this one even more. Since that day I made this our song. She got sick shortly after and I would lay in her hospital bed and sing this to her. My mommom was my mother in a way , she raised me and loved me like no one else could.she fought so long and hard surviving 10 years of stage 3 leukemia sadly 11 days god called her home. Yesterday was her funeral and when this song started playing I knew she was still with me. I know it’s supposed to be a love song but to me it means so much more.
