Cannonball was such an engaging performer. Being at a concert with his band was like being invited into his home. This piece, so smooth. The silence after the horn riff, then back to the quiet familiarity of the piano riff. Genius.

Greg Woodie. Think of it like this. Your a Preacher walking down the road of life and the Devil appears. Maybe in a situation that you had to make a choice. Walk with him. The Devil. Or walk with the Lord. The Country Preacher stayed with the Lord. He just kept on walking. The loud horns spell trouble. The pause was the Preacher thinking about the choice. He decided to keep walking with the Lord. If you believe in GOD, You will know what i mean. Easier to understand. The Devil is a trouble maker.
