Im I the only one wondering why London looks so quiet and empty

i was only eleven when i listened to song last year. it was christmas vacation, and i was at a fancy hotel with my father and i would listen to most of the blur songs as i slept. i avoided this song, because the melancholy it brought me was sad (along with the beginning of coffee and tv) and it had reminded me a lot of the old times. i loved the old times, and guessed that the melancholy was sad because i noticed, at the early age of twelve, that the old times would never be how present affected me. it was terrible, but i loved how remembering the old times felt. iʼve never visited primrose hill, or any place in Britain, at that, but when i listen to this song, i remember the old times as living near primrose Hill and always going there to calm down. much love.
